9K a year 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago The Manufacturing Assembler will coordinate and execute the testing and assembly of all product according to the production schedule.
One will read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to learn how to assemble the product utilizing the appropriate tools and/or machines to complete the testing and assembly, including working with engineering and production control as required.
Responsibilities Read and interpret assembly drawings and instructions to assemble products or the different parts of products Perform the appropriate hydro-test, helium test and other required tests on individual components before performing the final assembly Work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Quality, and Production Control departments to ensure coordination of manufacturing activities Keep work station organized and orderly, and make sure that production parts, tools, test equipment and documentation are properly store and maintained Insure intradepartmental and cross-functional alignment of procedures and best practices Identify corrective actions to prevent recurrent deviations Identify, develop, and implement process improvements, equipment improvements/upgrades Responsible for developing and maintaining standards for key areas.
This includes working with counterparts to ensure cohesive standards are maintained Maintain a safe and organized work environment Identify and perform all required maintenance on equipment, facility, and tools Participate and be an active member in all manufacturing team meetings and other meetings as required Establish cooperative working relationships with all company employees Work in tandem with the entire Manufacturing and Materials Team and maintain flexible attitude supporting all stated objectives Must perform to the best of their ability on all other tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Manager or ACI Leadership Team Skills Graduation from high school and three (3) years experience in a manufacturing operation, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to obtain OSHA required Forklift Certification Will be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications Must have knowledge of machining and assembly practices, tools and fixturing Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations Considerable knowledge of equipment operating principals and procedures Considerable knowledge of hazards and safety precautions relating to equipment operation, loading and unloading of materials Must possess the senses of sight, hearing and have excellent oral and written communication skills in English Must have the ability to speak with poise, voice control, and confidence, using a well-modulated voice Must possess the ability to coordinate a variety of routine projects and activities simultaneously without losing control, poise, or professionalism Work Remotely No Job Type:
