8K a year 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago Quality Systems Specialist Summary AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join our growing team at our Cambridge and Zanesville, Ohio facilities.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an internal audit system, including the planning, implementation, feedback, and reporting to ensure the alignment with Company standards, processes, policies, and procedures, and customer requirements.
Additionally, you will support the maintenance of our quality system standards to ensure appropriate alignment with the ISO requirements, which includes management of our internal data control systems.
Responsibilities and Duties (all other duties as assigned):
Leads by example and complies with all AMG V safety and environmental requirements, policies, and procedures, including AMG's Code of Business Conduct Embraces and promotes the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activities; fosters and promotes a positive, respectful work environment that is aligned with AMG's values.
Supports the development and execution of the Cambridge and Zanesville site quality systems, processes, policies, procedures, and standards.
Executes an internal audit system that includes layered process audits of both facilities; creates regular audit plan, completes audits, and reports results to key internal stakeholders.
Works closely with Quality, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to track process nonconformities and corrective actions through to completion.
Maintains the document and data control systems in support of the Integrated ISO Management Systems.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, assisting with operational efficiencies and sustainable best practice results; helps to create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Company.
Provides support to the Lab at both facilities as required.
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements Associate degree in business or a technical degree required or equivalent experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
2-3 years' experience in steel or metals industry preferred; heavy manufacturing experience a strong plus Knowledge of or experience working in ISO/9001.
Previous auditing experience is highly preferred.
Strong process and technical aptitude; strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must; solution focused mindset Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles preferred; demonstrated ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) Ability to work effectively across functional lines.
Strong change management skills.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, organization, and execution skills.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office Systems.
Strong Excel skills are greatly preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
