Job Description:
As a newborn photographer you will operate the WelcomeNewborn photocart and implement all elements associated with the provision of the Hospital's newborn photographic service.
This includes:
Punctual arrival for your assigned shifts.
Any deviation in your shift schedule should follow the Shift Coverage Protocol described in your New Hire Packet and the Employee Handbook.
Operation of the WelcomeNewborn camera, computers, and printing equipment in order to take, sell, process and deliver photographic prints.
Accurate collection of payments received and recording of all sales in an electronic deposit log.
Adherence to all applicable Hospital rules and procedures as presented in your orientation and/or training.
Adherence to all WelcomeNewborn guidelines pertaining to newborn safety, protocol for shift coverage, and infection control.
Maintaining an up-to-date status with regard to all necessary competencies, immunizations and other requirements as directed.
Keeping current with WelcomeNewborn's new initiatives and service offerings.
Other duties as requested by district manager or central office.
Job Requirements:
o The ability to work comfortably with newborn babies and mothers; o The ability to operate a DSLR camera and related equipment; Exceptional communication skills and a professional presence; Maturity, drive, and confidence; PC/Computer keyboarding skills; Bilingual ability is a plus (Spanish).
